Seattle
From Seven
Seattle greeted me with a miserably grey sky, rain and a bitterly cold wind. Thank you. It first seemed like any other damned North American city. Damned because of a lack of people and an excess of cars, roads for the cars and garages for the cars and with Star Bucks as the only attraction. Just like so many other cities.
But then I went underground with the underground tour and that did liven things up a bit. Better still, when I came out of the catacomb the weather had cleared up and an amazingly brilliant blue sky and sunset changed everything for good. Thanks.
